Netcorp provided two data engineers to support the client’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) and personalization initiatives.
One part of the work focused on developing machine learning models for customer segmentation and personalized product recommendations. The engineer delivered 20 models that analyze customer activity and suggest relevant products, improving engagement and customer experience on digital platforms.
The second part of the work centered on CDP development. This included migrating data workflows from Azure Data Factory to Databricks, refactoring existing pipelines, testing cost impacts, and implementing new features such as Databricks Autoloader. In addition, time series processing was developed for energy consumption data, with reporting solutions and PostgreSQL databases built to complement the Databricks warehouse.


The client is one of the largest energy producers in Finland, operating across several European markets. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, the company produces and supplies energy solutions ranging from electricity and heat production to services that help customers improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions.
