Flexibility Services is a key part of Energy provider’s Virtual Power Plant initiative. The project focused on enabling smart management of home batteries across Baltic markets. With this solution, excess electricity produced in the grid can be stored in batteries, reducing the risks of overproduction.
In addition to balancing the grid, the system also gives homeowners the ability to optimize their own energy consumption and, when possible, sell electricity back to the grid. This approach not only improves efficiency but also helps customers reduce costs and participate in creating a more sustainable energy system.

Outcome of the project was Enefit self-service portal updated technological stack and added functionalities, that helped Enefit to operate in all of its home markets in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
